The GCDF CredentialAlmost anyone can take the CDF training. However, if a person wishes to acquire the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential, he or she must meet additional requirements. The Global CDF certification is offered through the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE), a subsidiary of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Global CDF credentialing requirements were developed by various organizations including the National Career Development Association (NCDA), the National Employment Counseling Association (NECA), and the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) working with CCE.
